Homeric Poems Revisited: 1 when we traveled to Ancient Troy and had lunch in a giant wooden Trojan horse

Rides taken with drunken (unknown to us until halfway through the ride) Turkish “police officers” at 2:00 a.m.: 1

Holidays Spent in Foreign Countries: Jen’s 26th birthday - flew to Nadi, Fiji on our first international stop. Halloween - on a 2-day slow boat on the Mekong River in Laos. Thanksgiving - hiking on the Everest Base Camp Trail in Nepal. Christmas - walking around in the Christian area of Cairo, Egypt. New Year’s Eve - glaring at the stars and toasting with hot tea in Siwa Oasis, the Sahara Desert, Egypt. Craig’s 26th birthday - wandering the streets of Old Town, Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Valentine’s Day - split our time between Plovdiv and Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. Easter Sunday - Copenhagen, Denmark The International First Baptist Church. Hubby and Wifey Day - Edinburgh, Scotland. Independence Day - London, England. Jen’s 27th Birthday - Driving from South Africa to Khama Rhino Sanctuary in Botswana.
